Enerdrive ePower True Sine-wave Inverter 12V DC to 240V AC (EN1226S-X)
2600 Watt with Auto AC Transfer Switch and RCD Safety Switch
The ePOWER 2000W Inverter with AC Transfer & Safety Switch is one in a family of affordable, high quality, professional level inverters by Enerdrive. By using the latest power conversion technology, ePOWER inverters deliver clean and energy efficient true sine wave AC power from your DC supply.
This ePOWER Inverter incorporates a 16A AC Transfer Switch which allows for seamless AC power transfer between Mains/Generator and Inverter. This helps to keep your appliances running with almost no break time on AC transfer and allows for a much simpler installation on-board.
Also included in the unit is a RCD Safety Switch. This switch monitors the flow of electricity through the inverter and detects any problems that may pose a risk to personal safety and switches the output power off within 0.03 of a second.
The ePOWER 2000W is built to operate basic equipment such as power tools, computers, microwave ovens, televisions and other appliances that use up to 2000W of power for operation. All Enerdrive ePOWER Inverters are covered by our extensive 2-Year warranty.
ePOWER AC Transfer Switch Inverter Updates – Enerdrive would like to Introduce you to a great new feature on the ePOWER AC Transfer Switch Inverters. This feature is the New PS6 Mode. The PS6 (new default setting) allows the Inverter to remain OFF when connected to Mains Power but still allow Mains power to pass through to Circuits/Power points on the Output side of the Inverter. At any time the inverter can be turned ON or OFF via the Power Button.
Reason for the New PS Mode: In the past, units would be set to PS1 mode (default) which would automatically turn the Inverter ON when AC was introduced to the Input and while plugged in, it could not be turned OFF. If the user was unaware that Mains power was unplugged or a power outage or just forgot about it when they unplugged the system, then the Inverter would stay on putting unnecessary load on the battery.
All inverters sold from April 1, 2019 include this update. All inverters prior to April 1, can be software upgraded. The unit would need to be returned to Enerdrive (at owners expense) for the software upgrade at no cost.
Explanation of the update see below;
Program PS6, AC Transfer Switch is active with the inverter switched ON or OFF.
- If the inverter is switched off, with AC input present, the inverter will pass the AC through to the inverter output side. If the AC input is removed, the inverter will stay in the off position.
- If the inverter is switched on, with AC input present, the inverter will pass the AC through to the inverter output side. If the AC input is removed, the inverter will stay in the on position supplying the inverter output side from the battery input.
AC Transfer Cable Now Included as Standard – Further to customer feedback, now included with all AC Transfer Switch Inverters is a 4 metre AC lead with molded Male/Female IEC Plugs fitted. This allows the installer to cut the lead and hardwire the IEC plugs directly. This will speed up installation time and eliminate any connection issues within the plug.
